Hong Kong Capital Investment Entrant Scheme (CIES)


Hong Kong's "Capital Investment Entrant Scheme" aims to allow qualified investors from around the world to immigrate to Hong Kong, thereby attracting funds and talents to Hong Kong.

Qualified individuals can invest HKD30,000,000 or more in financial products designated by the Hong Kong government, but exclude purchasing properties. After approval, they can move to Hong Kong with their family members. After living continuously for no less than 7 years, they can apply for permanent residency in Hong Kong.

Application conditions

* 18+

* Net worth 30 million for at least two years

* Provide no criminal record

* Prove the financial ability to live in Hong Kong

* Chinese nationals need to hold overseas permanent residence status

【HKD 27 million】

• stock

• Bonds

• Certificate of deposit (not exceeding 3 million)

• Subordinated debt

• Qualified collective investment schemes

• Limited partnership funds

• Non-residential real estate (not exceeding 10 million)

【HKD 3 million】

* Innovation and technology investment portfolio

* You can bring your spouse and children under 18 years old

* Duration of stay: 2 years + 3 years + 3 years

* Enjoy the temporary stamp duty exemption of "Exemption first and then collection later"

AIMS service process

  • 1. Preliminary inquiries to AIMS and understand the project content
  • 2. Immigration assessment by AIMS consultant
  • 3. Sign a service agreement with AIMS and pay the service fee, and collect various documents from the applicant at the same time
  • 4. AIMS will submit the application to the Immigration Department on your behalf and obtain the file number Approval in Principle (AIP)
  • 5. Help you complete the required 30 million investment
  • 6. After being approved, AIMS will apply to the Immigration Department on your behalf for the electronic visa of "Entry Permit"; then make the investment within 6 months
